Oversize / Overweight Permit
Colorado requires permits for any load exceeding legal size or weight limits, with specific routing requirements through mountain passes.
Who needs it: Required when height exceeds 13'6", width exceeds 8'6", trailer length exceeds 48', or gross weight exceeds 80,000 lbs. Route-specific restrictions apply.
